Genevieve Topalov holds a Bachelor of Dermal Science from Victoria University. She is a member of the Australian Society of Dermal Clinicians (ASDC) and is an accredited lymphoedema practitioner with the Australasian Lymphology Association (ALA).

Genevieve has extensive experience in advanced dermal therapy for both cosmetic and non-cosmetic skin conditions. She worked alongside Australia's leading cosmetic dermatologists at the Dermatology Institute of Victoria, achieving exceptional outcomes for her clients. Developing a passion for leg health and oedema therapies, Genevieve advanced in cutaneous vascular therapy and leg health at Melbourne Vascular, Richmond. She also completed further accredited training in best practice lymphoedema care at the Oedema Institute, Clayton.

After returning to Queensland, Genevieve recognised a huge unmet need for both dermal and oedema therapies in Toowoomba and surrounding regions. She opened The Dermal & Oedema Clinic which was the first allied-health clinic of its kind in the region for skin, lymph and adipose health.

In the first two years of practice, she helped over one hundred women with lipoedema and oedema concerns change their lives. She participated in research and invested heavily into advanced technologies to bring world-leading technologies to her clients. Genevieve advocates for women with lipoedema, by providing education and training for health professionals and speaking nationally at conferences.

She is passionate about redefining the standard of care for women with lipoedema, leading her to establish a dedicated clinical program at Lipoedema Lab.
